This is a series of six illustrations inspired by the greek myth of Prometheus.
They are made in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and are based upon pencil drawings.
In Greek mythology, Prometheus is a Titan and culture hero who is credited with the creation of man from clay and who defies the gods and gives fire to humanity an act that enabled progress and civilization. He is known for his intelligence and as a champion of mankind.
My vision of this myth is really different. Prometheus gave to man the faculty of destroy himself; the progress brought him to the industrialization and to the point of breaking any links with nature. Money and wellness are the most important values, nothing else matters.
That's why I put together the greek pottery (PAST) and the robot and machines (PRESENT & FUTURE).
